    How to upgrade to the MagShow PRO version?
    1. Purchase MagShow PRO from here: https://themesdna.com/magshow-pro-wordpress-theme/
      Note: You can purchase it using your credit card, debit card or PayPal.
    2. Download the zip file of the purchased template clicking on the download link sent to your email address.
      Note: Please check your spam folder if you cannot find it in your inbox. However, if you are still unable to locate this email or the download link is broken, please contact us via our contact form. We will send it as soon as possible.
    3. Go to "WordPress Dashboard" -> "Appearance" -> "Themes" and click on "Add New" button.
    4. Click on "Upload Theme" button and choose the zip file you have downloaded.
    5. Click on "Install Now" button.
    6. Activate the theme.
    7. Now go to "Appearance" -> "Customize" to configure theme options.
    How to install MagShow theme?
    1. Go to "WordPress Dashboard" -> "Appearance" -> "Themes" and click on "Add New" button.
    2. To find the theme, type "MagShow" into the search box.
    3. When you find the theme, click on the "Install" button.
    4. Click on "Activate" button to activate the theme.

    Alternatively,

    1. Download the magshow.zip file.
    2. Go to "WordPress Dashboard" -> "Appearance" -> "Themes" and click on "Add New" button.
    3. Click on "Upload Theme" button and choose the zip file you have downloaded.
    4. Click on "Install Now" button.
    5. Activate the theme.
    How to regenerate thumbnails?

    After installing and activating this theme, the first thing you need to do is regenerate thumbnails from all your featured images to match this theme.

    1. Install and activate the "Regenerate Thumbnails" plugin.
    2. From the left hand navigation menu, click "Tools" -> "Regenerate Thumbnails".
    3. On the next screen, click on the specific button to generate thumbnails for all attachments.
    4. Now wait until regenerate process is complete.
    How to add featured images for posts?

    How do I access the theme options?

    Go to "Appearance" -> "Customize" -> "Theme Options" to access the theme options.

    How to apply a custom page template?

    This theme has custom page templates for posts and pages.

    How do I use wide or full-width blocks in a post or page?
    1. Edit the post or page in the WordPress block editor.
    2. Choose "Align Wide Block Support" in the Template setting.
    3. Select a supported block and choose "Wide width" or "Full width" from its alignment controls.
    How do I add a MagShow block pattern?
    1. Edit a post or page in the WordPress block editor and open the block inserter.
    2. Open the "Patterns" tab and select the "MagShow Sections" category.
    3. Choose one of the 15 patterns and replace its sample content with your own.
    How do I setup menus?

    Just after installing the theme it will display the pages as the default menus. You can add your own links, categories, pages for the menu.

    This theme includes 2 menu location options: Primary Menu, Secondary Menu

    1. To create a menu, go to "Appearance" > "Menus" and click on the "create a new menu" link.
    2. Give a name to your menu and click on the "Create Menu" button.
    3. To add menu items, simply select options in the left side column by checking the box for pages, posts, categories, tags etc that you want to include and then click on the "Add to Menu" button.
    4. To create menu drop-downs, simply nest your drop-down menu links below the menu item under which you want them to appear.
    5. When you are done adding links, select a menu location by checking one of the options listed under "Display location" and save your menu.
    How to upload a site icon?

    Site Icons are what you see in browser tabs, bookmark bars, and within the WordPress mobile apps.
    Note: Site Icons should be square and at least 512 Ă— 512 pixels.

    1. Go to "Appearance" -> "Customize" -> "Theme Options" -> "Site Identity".
    2. Click on the "Select site icon" button.
    3. Click on the "Upload Files" tab of the upload screen.
    4. Now upload your site icon clicking on the "Select Files" button from the upload screen.
    5. Click on the "Publish" button at the top of the Customizer if you are satisfied with your site icon.
    How to upload a logo?

    Adding a custom logo is very easy. Please use the following steps.

    1. Go to "Appearance" -> "Customize" -> "Theme Options" -> "Site Identity".
    2. Click on the "Select logo" button.
    3. Click on the "Upload Files" tab of the upload screen.
    4. Upload your logo clicking on the "Select Files" button from the upload screen.
    5. Click on the "Publish" button at the top of the Customizer if you are satisfied with your logo.
    How to upload a header image?

    You can upload an image to your site header easily going to "Appearance" -> "Customize" -> Theme Options -> "Header Image".

    How to add or change site background image?

    You can add/change/remove site background image going to "Appearance" -> "Customize" -> Theme Options -> "Background Image".

    How do I enable the slider?
    1. Go to "Appearance" -> "Customize" -> "Theme Options" -> "Slider Options".
    2. Mark the option "Enable Slider" and set the other options for the slider.
    How do I change the posts style of post summaries?
    1. Go to "Appearance" -> "Customize" -> "Theme Options" -> "Posts Summaries Options".
    2. Choose "Grid Posts" or "Non-Grid Posts" post style using the "Post Summaries Style" option.
    How do I show published or updated dates?
    1. Go to "Appearance" -> "Customize" -> "Theme Options".
    2. Open "Posts Summaries Options", "Slider Options", "Post Options" or "Page Options".
    3. Use the date type option in that section to choose "Published" or "Updated".
    How do I enable FitVids for embedded videos?
    1. Go to "Appearance" -> "Customize" -> "Theme Options" -> "Other Options".
    2. Enable the "Enable FitVids.JS" option.

    FitVids applies to supported embedded videos in post content and widgets. WordPress blocks use their own responsive handling.

    How do I disable the theme's responsive handling for HTML tables?
    1. Go to "Appearance" -> "Customize" -> "Theme Options" -> "Other Options".
    2. Enable "Disable Mobile Responsiveness for HTML Tables".

    Use this option when a table plugin or custom code already provides responsive table functionality.

    How to add my own copyright message?
    1. Go to "Appearance" -> "Customize" -> "Theme Options" -> "Footer Options".
    2. Add your own copyright message to the "Footer copyright notice" text input.

    How to import demo content (posts, pages, comments, custom fields, categories, tags, menus, media)
    1. First download and save this "magshowwordpresstheme.WordPress.2022-12-01.xml" file into your hard drive.
    2. Go to "Tools" -> "Import".
    3. In the "WordPress" section, if you have not already installed the importer, click "Install Now".
    4. When the installation is finished, click "Run Importer".
    5. Click on "Choose File" and select previously saved "magshowwordpresstheme.WordPress.2022-12-01.xml" file from your hard drive.
    6. Click on "Upload file and import" button.
    7. Now you will be asked to map the authors in the export file to users on your website. For each author, you may choose to map to an existing user on your website or to create a new user.
    8. Check the option "Download and import file attachments".
    9. Click on "Submit" button.
    How to import demo widgets
    1. To display different widgets in different pages, first install and activate the "Widget Display Conditions" plugin.
    2. Now install and activate the "Widget Importer & Exporter" plugin.
    3. Go to "Tools" -> "Widget Importer & Exporter".
    4. Click on "copy and paste" link. Then a textarea will be displayed.
    5. Copy and paste the content in the "demo.themesdna.com-magshow-widgets.wie" file into that textarea.
    6. Click on "Import Widgets" button.
    How to import Customizer settings in theme demo
    1. First download and save this "magshow-export.dat" file into your hard drive.
    2. Now install and activate the "Customizer Export/Import" plugin.
    3. Go to "Appearance" -> "Customize" -> "Export/Import".
    4. Click on "Choose File" from the "Import" section and select previously saved "magshow-export.dat" file from your hard drive.
    5. Check the option "Download and import image files?" and click on "Import" button.
